00:00:32: Today we're talking about motivation but probably not Not.

00:00:39: you just need to want it more, instead how make motivation almost irrelevant.

00:00:46: Because if you rely on motivation you learn inconsistently.

00:00:51: If you build a system You'll learn automatically.

00:00:55: So what's the problem with motivation?

00:00:57: Motivation is emotional and emotions fluctuate.

00:01:03: Some days you have high energy, sharp focus and everything flows.

00:01:07: And other days your tire is distracted.

00:01:09: if no desire to start let's say your children are ill or there's Chaotic circumstances in your company.

00:01:18: this will lower your motivation won't it?

00:01:21: So If You're learning depends on how you feel you will be unstable.

00:01:27: That's why todays core principle is discipline Is good systems Better.

00:01:34: Three levels of consistency, let's have a look at staying consistent because it has three levels.

00:01:41: level one decision I want to learn but that is not enough.

00:01:46: Level two planning.

00:01:48: i will study thirty minutes every day.

00:01:52: well thats better But still afraid and probably not realistic.

00:01:56: Level three automation.

00:01:59: when x happens I learn.

00:02:02: This is the level that works.

00:02:04: And this where magic happens.

00:02:07: Habits come and triggers come in.

00:02:10: So, The power of Triggers A trigger a fixed cue automatically leads to action.

00:02:17: After my morning coffee ten minutes review after brushing teeth five minutes vocabulary.

00:02:24: after dinner one pomodoro session.

00:02:29: What's important?

00:02:30: learning should not be a decision.

00:02:31: It should be a reaction.

00:02:34: Listen, we all brush our teeth probably twice per day.

00:02:39: This is a routine that we have established over decades.

00:02:44: so if you use that routine and You put your learning routine to it?

00:02:52: You link it.

00:02:54: So the trigger is brushing your teeth And then learning starts.

00:02:59: Choose something that will always happen even if your house is on fire, you'll brush your teeth!

00:03:08: So... Even If Your Wife Runs Away Or Your Children Get Arrested I don't know.

00:03:15: You Will Brush Your Teeth.

00:03:17: You Will Also Eat Something You Will Go To Bed And You Will Get Up.

00:03:21: Take The Dog For A Walk Whatever It Is.

00:03:25: Take These Things That Will happen in any case, In your daily routine and then link Your learning principle.

00:03:36: You're learning session.

00:03:38: you need your whatever to that Master activity.

00:03:48: so the formula is when The existing routine Starts or it's done Then there specific Learning action will start.

00:03:56: for example When I open my laptop I review one block.

00:04:01: When i arrive at the office, I answer five questions of my list when I sit on the couch.

00:04:08: well...I will do a sixty second explanation out loud.

00:04:14: so here's The biggest enemy which is not laziness it starting resistance.

00:04:23: So let's have two minute rule against procrastination.

00:04:26: Oh wonderful!

00:04:27: What isn't that?

00:04:27: Procrastination.

00:04:29: And it works in all languages, procrastination.

00:04:44: It's a wonderful word!

00:04:45: So make it so small.

00:04:48: that feels almost ridiculous.

00:04:50: not I'll study for thirty minutes.

00:04:54: instead i will open my notes and answer two questions.

00:04:57: Once you start the chance that your continuing increases dramatically.

00:05:03: One line to remember starting is hard, continuing is mechanical.

00:05:09: and work on no zero days principle.

00:05:14: if You want automation?

00:05:15: You need continuity.

00:05:18: so The rule is No Zero Days which means not Sixty minutes per day.

00:05:26: It means at least one micro action every day for example to answer three questions of your textbook.

00:05:33: two minutes of vocabulary training solving One task give a sixty second Explanation or whatever and why it works?

00:05:43: Your brain learns.

00:05:44: I'm someone who learns daily.

00:05:47: its your identity and Identity beats motivation my friend.

00:05:53: So, here's a four step anti-procrastination system.

00:05:58: A clear structure.

00:05:59: Step one Reduce Fraction.

00:06:02: The material is ready the notes are open and the phone out of sight.

00:06:07: Take this bloody phone away!

00:06:10: A few barriers.

00:06:12: Well...the fewer the barriers the easier they start.

00:06:16: Step two Microstart.

00:06:18: Two minutes, two questions.

00:06:20: One task Not Ruling the world.

00:06:24: Step three, visible tracking.

00:06:27: Mark a calendar.

00:06:28: Keep simple streak list.

00:06:30: Track your daily action You want to see.

00:06:34: I follow through.

00:06:35: Step four keep rewards small No big reward system needed.

00:06:41: A small internal done feeling is enough Because this will flush you brain with dopamine.

00:06:48: Success creates momentum and that's great.

00:06:53: So again, rethinking motivation.

00:06:56: Identity is stronger than emotion.

00:07:00: instead of saying I need to be more motivated say i am someone who learns daily!

00:07:06: I'm someone.

00:07:07: and finish the sentence as you want.

00:07:11: that shift changes behavior.

00:07:13: when learning becomes part your identity.

00:07:16: You need less willpower And that's why small daily actions, fixed triggers and consistent timing are so powerful.

00:07:26: Here is your seven day automation challenge For the next seven days.
